Position: Community Planning Senior Planner Role
Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

Lead impactful community development as a Senior Planner in Bradford West Gwillimbury. This position requires strong skills in urban design and resource management to influence the town’s growth.

As the Senior Planner within the Community Planning Division, you'll execute land use planning functions while managing development projects and policy updates. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with planning regulations and conducting public consultations while preparing reports for Council presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate development proposals for consistency with local policies

• Ensure compliance with the Planning Act and zoning by-laws

• Conduct public consultations and negotiate agreements

• Deliver presentations and facilitate discussions

• Support initiatives for comprehensive municipal policy updates

Requirements:

• Planning degree recognized by Professional Standards Board

• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant planning experience

• RPP designation or path to obtain

• Proficiency in legislation like the Planning Act

• Effective communication and project management skills
