Join the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board as a permanent teacher in Technological Education – Hairstyling and Aesthetics.
This role offers an interim position for the 2026/2027 school year, emphasizing skill in hairstyling and aesthetics education.
Applicants must hold valid certifications from the Ontario College of Teachers, including Intermediate and Senior qualifications. You are required to have expertise in both Hairstyling and Aesthetics (Grades 9-10) as well as Hospitality & Tourism (Grades 9-10). Those qualifying with the required certifications will be prioritized, ensuring a fitting match for this impactful teaching position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Technological Education in Hairstyling and Aesthetics
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Assess and evaluate student understanding
• Collaborate with other educational staff and departments
• Support students' growth and skill development
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers membership
• Intermediate and Senior qualifications required
• Valid qualifications in Hairstyling and Aesthetics
• Additional qualifications in Hospitality & Tourism preferred
