RVH is seeking a
MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST – MRT(R)to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of Computed Tomography within our Medical Imaging team. Medical Imaging at RVH offers an expansive range of Radiography imaging programs including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology. As the hub of our region, we provide a high level of complex imaging across all modalities including high risk OBSP, advanced cardiac and acute stroke CT imaging, life changing embolization and thrombolysis interventional procedures, and cutting-edge treatments such as Trans arterial Radio embolization.

Team members enjoy working with advanced technology and equipment and have a multitude of exciting learning and training opportunities.

This position is specifically offering dedicated weekend work for CT technologists - as a weekend worker, you would routinely be scheduled one weekend per month in our CT department but would not have obligations beyond these shifts. Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
  • Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
  • Experience or willingness to train in CT required.

  • Working knowledge of Safety Code 35, RHPA and standards of practice for related field.
