The Onyx Clinic, located in Barrie, ON, is a boutique private practice established in 2021 to provide evidence-based speech‑language pathology services. The clinic is dedicated to restoring function and enhancing quality of life through integrated and specialized support.

Role Description

Inclusive Play Space | Growth Role | Barrie

The Onyx Clinic is seeking a registered SLP with experience working with children on the autism spectrum to join us in an exciting growth position serving families in Barrie.

This is not a traditional clinic or school‑based role.

You will work within an inclusive play space model, collaborating with families to support communication, social connection, and functional participation in real‑world environments.

This role is ideal for a clinician who:

  • Enjoys working with neurodivergent children
  • Values relationship‑based, strengths‑focused therapy
  • Is excited about building and shaping programming
  • Wants to grow into leadership or program development over time

Lived experience, training or comfort working with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds is considered an asset.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
  • Registration in good standing with CASLPO
  • Experience working with children with autism
