Location: Midland
Make a difference as a Community Support Worker with March of Dimes Canada, helping clients with daily living activities. This full-time role pays $19.81 per hour and includes the opportunity to travel and assist in various homes.
As a Support Service Attendant, you will engage with clients, offering assistance in personal care and other daily tasks. Your work will support seniors and those with physical disabilities to enhance their quality of life while ensuring their dignity, privacy, and health. Mileage reimbursement will be provided as you travel between client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide in-home assistance with daily living activities
• Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Conduct transfers and lifts safely
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties as necessary
Requirements:
• Must be a high school graduate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle needed
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Experience in caregiver roles is an asset
• Strong communication and care abilities required
