Position: Wellness and Recovery Manager Role
Join the Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle (BANAC) as the Manager of Wellness and Recovery, where you'll oversee mental health and addictions services fostering Indigenous knowledge. This position emphasizes team leadership and program management across North Simcoe Muskoka.

You will be integral in managing integrated care teams, overseeing service quality, and implementing cultural safety standards. Utilizing your experience in mental health delivery, contribute to strategic development and operational excellence that truly respects Indigenous values and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical decision-making and quality improvement initiatives

• Manage team onboarding, training, and performance evaluations

• Develop and implement innovative clinical programs

• Streamline day-to-day operational management of services

• Collaborate to maintain effective partnerships with community groups

Requirements:

• Master's in Social Work or related mental health discipline

• 3-5 years in managing interdisciplinary health teams

• Proven experience with mental health service delivery

• Insight into Indigenous-specific healthcare services

• Certification in Joint Health and Safety Committee preferred
