Support patient care at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare as a Housekeeping Aide. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining hygiene in hospital facilities.
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will carry out essential cleaning tasks at both hospital sites in Huntsville and Bracebridge. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, perform preventative cleaning, and engage in teamwork to enhance patient experiences. Communication skills are important to ensure respect and dignity for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility
• Complete assigned checks on schedules
• Undertake carpet cleaning and garbage disposal
• Support quality improvement initiatives by reporting supplies usage
• Stay updated with training and health protocols
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School Diploma
• Required Public Health Ontario training certification
• Proficient in English communication
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role
Contribute to a safe and clean environment at MAHC's healthcare facilities.
