Casual Direct Support Professional

This position demands a compassionate individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a team. You will support individuals in daily living skills—ranging from personal care to recreational activities—and ensure safety and well-being. Applicants should possess a DSW College Diploma and experience with intellectual disabilities to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centered support in community activities.

• Assist with personal care and meal preparation.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance individuals’ well-being.

• Implement and monitor individualized activity programs.

Requirements:

• DSW Diploma or equivalent in social sciences.

• Three years of experience with individuals with disabilities.

• Current certifications in First Aid and CPR.

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License.

• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
