Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
We are currently looking to fill 1 new opportunity for a Full-Time Senior Brain Injury Rehabilitation Workers in our Central Region

Monday to Friday 9am - 4:30pm.
Starting wage:$27.01 per hour. This compensation is inclusive of a $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients. The wage enhancement does not apply to training and paid leave.
Hours:35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:- Implements programs designed to enhance the efficiency and safe delivery of Community Support Services to clients with Brain Injury with the support of the RSC
- Manage a case load of 9 clients with one office block per week.
- Working collaboratively with the RSC in completing all daily report writing, incident reports, Individual Rehabilitation Plan, and quarterly reporting
- Ability to manage a caseload with flexibility while responding to other duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure individual needs are met through functional goal setting.
- Act as a resource to staff and families in the provision of long-term support and service coordination for complex or catastrophic cases to enable adults with Brain Injuries to remain in community.
- To provide cognitive and compensatory strategies that support functional goal setting
- Travel within region on a daily basis.
- 2 – 5 years experience in the Social Services/Health Sector, coordinating services for individuals with Brain Injury is an asset
- Concrete knowledge of the effects of an ABI is an asset, training will be provided
- Community based experience working with individuals with a Brain Injury, physical disabilities or special needs
- Highly organized and excellent time management skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of behaviour management principles
- General understanding of computer hardware and software
- Strong ability to assess and determine effective compensatory strategies for individuals with brain injuries.
- Valid Licence and access to a car
- Insurance liability of $1,
