Are you a passionate, skilled clinician looking to support women in their perinatal journey while also working with general mental health concerns? Amber Sperling Social Work and Psychotherapy Services is looking for an experienced Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist to join our trauma-informed practice as an independent contractor.

Many of our clients come to us feeling isolated and overwhelmed, but leave with greater confidence, empowerment, and a renewed authorship to their life story. With personalized care that honors each individual journey, we offer a supportive and authentic approach to every step of their well-being path.

Our purpose is to ensure no mother feels alone, unheard, or burdened by self-doubt, while empowering her to embrace connection, confidence, and a fulfilling sense of self.

Our practice specializes in perinatal mental health, birth trauma, and EMDR therapy, while also supporting clients with general trauma, anxiety, and depression. We are deeply committed to compassionate, nervous system-informed care, fostering community, collaboration, and professional growth.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario (We will not review applications from outside of Ontario without proof of registration.)
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
  • Training or strong interest in EMDR therapy and perinatal mental health
  • Passion for women’s health, birth trauma, postpartum support, and holistic wellness
  • Experience with general trauma, anxiety, and depression
  • Values collaboration, professional development, and community care

Compensation & Contract Details

This is an independent contractor position, with a compensation structure based on a fee split (to be discussed). Clinicians join as part of our team while maintaining autonomy in their practice.
