Part-Time Bracebridge Pharmacy Technician

In this role, you will require a Registered Pharmacy Technician designation and experience in a hospital pharmacy. Key duties include dispensing medications, performing independent checks on sterile IV preparations, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will also assist with clerical tasks that support overall pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and label medications under pharmacist oversight

• Perform safety checks on prepared medications

• Deliver medications to designated hospital departments

• Assist in managing purchase orders and inventory

• Keep emergency supplies updated and organized

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Pharmacists registration is required

• Recent experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred

• Graduate from a recognized pharmacy technician course

• Knowledge in sterile IV chemotherapy preparation is desired

• Open availability for various shifts
