As part of an Indigenous governed organization, you will utilize your clinical skills to promote healing and recovery for individuals within the community.
Your role will include conducting culturally informed assessments while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement effective treatment plans. You'll be instrumental in preparing community members for recovery programs and delivering engaging psycho educational sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized therapy for addiction and trauma
• Conduct assessments and develop culturally grounded treatment plans
• Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
• Facilitate group programming that promotes cultural well-being
• Work collaboratively within an interprofessional healthcare team
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology
• At least 3 years of experience in trauma-informed care
• Familiarity with Indigenous cultural practices and histories
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Competency in maintaining accurate electronic records
