Elevate patient safety as an Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner with Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. This temporary full-time role involves leading the IPAC Program and collaborating across teams to ensure safety.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is seeking an IPAC Practitioner for a temporary full-time position in Huntsville. You will develop and implement infection prevention protocols, track surveillance data, and conduct risk assessments. This role requires collaboration with various teams and providing education on best practices to ensure quality care across facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate infection prevention policies

• Monitor infection trends and identify risks

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend controls

• Provide training on infection prevention best practices

• Prepare reports on infection control activities

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in infection control

• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control preferred

• Strong knowledge of infection control regulations

• Must reside within 125km of Huntsville or relocate
