As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team aiming to support families and children up to 19 years old.
Your role includes developing individualized treatment plans, educating families, and ensuring effective communication across care teams. This position emphasizes flexibility to meet client needs, making a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment programs
• Document clinical findings and client activities thoroughly
• Utilize therapy techniques while ensuring client confidentiality
• Collaborate with families and care teams for continuity of care
• Supervise and mentor Communication Disorders Assistants
Requirements:
• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registered with CASLPO in Ontario
• 2 years of pediatric healthcare experience
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication is a plus
• Strong skills in communication and organizing
