Para Med is seeking a Home Support Worker to provide support and companionship in their clients' homes. This full-time position includes a three-week training program at no cost, facilitating a smooth transition into your caregiving duties. Responsibilities involve meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance, and basic housekeeping while fostering a warm, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct multiple home visits daily for client care
• Prepare meals and assist during mealtime
• Perform housekeeping and essential daily tasks
• Offer companionship to enhance patient well-being
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing
Requirements:
• Compassionate and active listening skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with seniors or children is an asset
• Criminal background screening pass required
