In this crucial role, you will perform sleep studies while directly interacting with patients, providing them with information about procedures, and managing their comfort during testing. Your tasks will involve setting up equipment for overnight studies and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise. You'll also ensure all documentation is completed accurately and that patients receive proper follow-up communication regarding their appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct polysomnography studies and monitor patient sleep

• Explain procedures and answer patient inquiries

• Troubleshoot and fix equipment to secure accurate data

• Organize and clean the laboratory post-studies

• Train and mentor less experienced staff

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education

• RPsgT certification or working towards it

• Current BCLS certification

• Minimum 1 year experience in sleep technology

• Proficient in software like Alice 6
