You’ll play a vital role in patient interaction, including preparing and guiding them through polysomnography studies. Responsibilities include monitoring patients overnight, troubleshooting equipment, and completing essential documentation. You’ll also conduct follow-up with patients regarding their appointments and overall satisfaction with the services provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute polysomnography tests and perform patient setup
• Provide patient education and answer questions clearly
• Titrate therapies like CPAP under required circumstances
• Troubleshoot technical issues for high-quality results
• Maintain lab cleanliness after each study
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant health discipline
• Actively pursuing RPsgT certification
• Current BCLS certification
• Preference for candidates with 1+ years in a sleep lab
• Ability to troubleshoot basic tech and equipment
