Location: Beeton
Provide essential personal care as a Personal Support Worker with VON Canada. This casual role requires compassion and skill in helping clients remain comfortable at home.
VON Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to person-centred care for over 125 years. As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will support daily living activities, travel between clients' homes, and make their visits meaningful. Your contributions will help clients maintain their independence while significantly impacting their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care to clients in their homes
• Assist in developing personalized care plans
• Support with personal care like bathing and dressing
• Help with mobility and safe transfers
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping
Requirements:
• Certification as a Personal Support Worker or Developmental Services Worker
• Current Standard First Aid or CPR level C Certificate
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
