Join our team as a Personal Support Worker, providing compassionate assistance with daily living activities and essential support. Shifts are available during the day, evening, and night.
The Person al Support Worker will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients in home care and retirement facilities. Your responsibilities will include helping with personal hygiene, running errands, and maintaining communication with clients' families. You will also ensure adherence to care plans and track any changes in client health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with activities of daily living and companionship
• Support self-care tasks such as washing and dressing
• Organize appointments, errands, and grocery shopping
• Provide transportation for clients to their appointments
• Track client well-being and communicate with coordinators
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of home care or retirement home experience preferred
• Preferred First Aid/CPR-AED certification
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Availability for flexible shifts, including holidays
• Capacity to follow and maintain care plans
