Position Summary
The Guest Experience Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all daily operations and team members in the Guest Experience department. He or she will be responsible for the retail inventories for each of the Recreation outlets and will provide guest service and assistance to the guests and team members who use the Recreation facilities. He or she is also responsible for ensuring that each team member is familiar with all of the daily operations and is trained in guest service continually.
The Guest Experience Supervisor is also responsible for scheduling, payroll and holding the team accountable for each guest encounter/interaction.
Duties and responsibilities:
Supervises operations within Guest Experience and ensures that friendly, courteous, and efficient service is extended to all guests
Trains; conducts with management, the departmental orientation and provides initial on-the-job training. Follows-up to ensure Job-Task-Checklists are signed off
Ensures policies and procedures are followed
Communicates regularly with team members to source new ideas for services, products, and equipment
Attends to any guest complaint to ensure the guest need is met, dialogue with guest is tracked, follows-up with team member and ensures root-cause is reviewed to minimize re-occurrence
Daily tracks and monitors activities and operations
Provides concise reports and/or purchase order requests for supplies and new products
Assists in other Guest Experience outlets and with Corporate Group Events as required
Assists the Director of Guest Experience, Director of Team Building and the Guest Experience Managers with special programs as required
Assists in building a solid relationship between concessions and the resort
Ensures the guests and team members are happy
Performs Attendant duties when scheduled
Completes all other duties as assigned
Recognizes and greets all guests and team members providing exceptional and professional service.
Provides exceptional and professional service to our guests and team members
Ensures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting potential hazards
Comfortable making responsible decisions and develops recommendations for effective problem solving
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Recreation Leadership or Business or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
2 years experience in the Recreation or Hospitality field
First Aid/CPR required
Bronze Cross certificate an asset
Boat License an asset
Knowledge of indoor/outdoor Sports and related equipment required
Intermediate level of competency in all Microsoft office components preferred
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
Visa Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
