Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager III (Digital Assets) to support a large-scale digital health transformation initiative under the Symbio Program.
This role will contribute to the implementation of a province-wide Clinical Information Solution (CIS) aimed at modernizing healthcare delivery through the consolidation of disparate systems into a unified electronic health record platform. The successful candidate will provide leadership in managing digital asset integration and ensuring alignment with the broader clinical transformation strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager will be responsible for providing end-to-end project management support for digital health initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital health projects supporting the integration of Clinical Information Systems (CIS).
- Manage project lifecycle activities from initiation through to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Ensure alignment with program objectives, timelines, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, standards, and reporting structures.
- Maintain project documentation including status reports, decision logs, and performance metrics.
- Establish and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) processes.
- Monitor, track, and mitigate project risks and issues effectively.
- Escalate critical issues in accordance with defined governance protocols.
- Oversee integration activities of digital assets with the Clinical Information Solution.
- Lead and coordinate system testing cycles, validation processes, and readiness assessments.
- Support clinical workflow redesign and data accessibility improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government bodies, healthcare providers, and vendors.
- Facilitate communication, collaboration, and alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
- Ensure effective collaboration among technical, clinical, and operational teams.
- Post-secondary education in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a digital health environment within a Canadian healthcare setting
, managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects. - Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining project management documentation, including project plans, risk management logs, status reports, and scheduling tools.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working within the Canadian healthcare sector
. - Availability to commence work as per the specified start date.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital health projects in acute healthcare environments.
- Proven experience in system integration and managing testing cycles within healthcare IT projects.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across government, healthcare organizations, and vendors.
- Experience working within New Brunswick’s healthcare system is considered an asset.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office 365, JIRA, MS Project, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or PMI-ACP.
