Drive design-led innovation at BMO Financial Group as an Innovation and Design Lead in Platform Engineering. Shape enterprise platforms by translating complex challenges into user-centered solutions.
In this high-impact role, you will play a pivotal part in modernizing platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in design thinking will help you tackle large-scale platform and infrastructure challenges, enabling strategic direction in x86 technologies. Engage closely with senior leadership to shape both technological direction and engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design initiatives from problem framing to delivery
• Apply human-centered design principles to technical issues
• Partner with teams for scalable platform solutions
• Drive initiatives for platform modernization and tooling
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders for technical discovery
Requirements:
• 7+ years in design, innovation, or platform engineering
• Experience with VMware and/or Nutanix hypervisors
• Strong grounding in enterprise compute and virtualization
• Proven ability to present to executive audiences
• Background in agile methodologies and enterprise transformation
