Enterprise Application Support Specialist III
The Enterprise Application Support Specialist III role is an IT technical analyst role within the Deluxe ITMS support Team accountable for ensuring the proper functioning of live, operational, customer-facing, cloud-based SaaS environments. The team maintains availability and monitors performance, diagnoses problems, anticipates trends, and develops new tools to support the platform. Responsibilities include coordinating with other teams on preparation, installation, and upgrades of ITMS system software, mentoring and coaching teammates, managing on‑call support for a 24/7 production environment, preparing ITMS environment plans for releases, and coordinating and implementing software updates.
The schedule is rotational on weekdays and weekends and includes overnight work hours. The specialist manages day‑to‑day operational activities, coordinates with other technical members and Development, QA, and Support teams, and actively monitors production applications for performance and accuracy while independently analyzing data trends and reporting anomalies.
- Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Three years of experience with technical analysis or related experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least two years of experience with technical analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of managing and coaching peers and documenting day‑to‑day operational activities (e.g., SOPs) in a production environment.
- Ability to support, implement, install, and document software releases for overnight weekdays and/or weekends as scheduled by the release management teams.
- Experience supporting, problem‑solving, and managing software and network incidents within incident‑management guidelines to resolve business‑critical, time‑sensitive issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server platforms, MS SQL, SSRS, XML/HTTPS, and ‑server architecture.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and network fundamentals.
- Programming experience is a definite asset.
The compensation range for this position is $82,000.00–$88,000.00 annually. The position may be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay offered will vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity.
