* Monitor and work through the helpdesk ticket queue, documenting issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to build a shared knowledge base.
* Assist with the administration of Windows servers and user accounts, including Active Directory, access provisioning, and password management.
* Support the maintenance and monitoring of core network infrastructure components including switches, DNS, and DHCP.
* Help track recurring issues and contribute ideas for long-term fixes or process improvements.
* Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, hardware deployments, and application migrations.
* Support the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
* Assist with monitoring security policies and flagging anomalies or access control gaps for review.
* Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to coordinate hardware and software support requests.

Shadow the System Administrator on escalated issues to build knowledge of complex infrastructure troubleshooting.

What You Will Bring
* Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field.
* Foundational understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and basic server administration.
* Familiarity with cloud concepts (Microsoft Azure or similar) is an asset.
* Strong problem-solving instincts and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
* Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills – able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
* Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
* Candidate should be on-site from Monday to Friday.

What You Will Gain
* Real-world experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.
* Hands-on exposure to Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure).
* Practical experience with ticketing systems, IT documentation, and service desk best practices.
* Mentorship from an experienced System Administrator with deep infrastructure and security knowledge.
