Materials Procurement Coordinator

Operate as a Materials Buyer, enhancing procurement processes in an innovative setting. Focus on order accuracy, supplier commitments, and effective material management.

In this role, you will oversee the conversion of purchase requisitions into orders, maintain supplier performance metrics, and mitigate supply risks. With 3-5 years in procurement, you'll need strong analytical abilities and expertise in ERP systems. Your interactions with cross-functional teams will be key to balancing supply continuity with inventory targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert purchase requisitions to finalized purchase orders

• Ensure pricing, quantity, and specification accuracy

• Maintain integrity of ERP data for planning purposes

• Collaborate with suppliers to manage delivery timelines

• Support audit requirements and compliance measures

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Buyer or in procurement

• Post-Secondary degree in Logistics or relevant area

• Proficient in ERP/MRP software; SAP is an asset

• Strong Excel and communication skills

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles preferable
