Purchasing & Operations Coordinator
Assist, support, and creatively contribute towards the company’s efforts around end-to-end Supply Chain Management, including Supply Chain operations, finance, distribution, logistics, and sourcing functions.
Responsibilities- Create purchase orders from MRP messages, PFEP and Replenishment spreadsheets, and monitor direct shipments.
- Create purchase orders for outside vendors and maintain supplier communication.
- Track vendors’ delivery of products and target service levels.
- Review and resolve purchase order invoice discrepancies in Tungsten.
- Create and monitor blanket purchase orders and releases with vendors.
- Create and monitor Jingmen stock orders, including placeholder purchase orders, multi‑branch coordination, and receiving processes upon arrival.
- Prepare and send weekly inventory reports to the sales team.
- Create and respond to expedite requests in E1.
- Order supplies for shipping and warehouse departments.
- Manage cycle count reporting, variance reports and adjustments.
- Prepare, print, and sort Bills of Lading and Customs documents and arrange pickups.
- Process all ship confirmations for Canada Complete manufacturing clearances.
- Prepare daily reports, including intercompany and hash reports.
- Maintain digital copies of receipts, pick slips, BOLs, etc.
- Provide coverage for the supply chain team during absences.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Proven analytical ability and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with intermediate to advanced Excel functions.
- Familiarity with an ERP system (JDE E1 preferred, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Exposure to logistics and warehouse systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to recognize, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of data.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre‑established guidelines.
$42,758.00 – $56,694.00 CAD (full‑time, 40 hours per week).
