International Imports & Exports Supervisor

Lead the international freight operations at North American Freight Forwarding as an Imports and Exports Supervisor. This in-office position focuses on team development and exceptional service delivery.

The role is hands-on and involves managing air, ocean, ground, and rail freight operations. You will drive performance, ensure compliance, and oversee a high-performing team. Your leadership skills are essential for solving problems, improving processes, and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily freight operations for all transportation modes

• Develop and coach team members for performance improvement

• Oversee shipment lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accuracy

• Manage departmental inboxes and facilitate communication

• Monitor vendor performance to drive service improvements

Requirements:

• 10+ years in transportation or freight forwarding

• Strong knowledge of TMS and EDI Systems

• Familiarity with Customs regulations for Canada and the USA

• Experience with Cargo Wise or similar software

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management preferred
