Lead global trade compliance and logistics for IDEX’s Quadro business at the Waterloo, Ontario site, coordinating freight, customs, and transportation.
This manager oversees import and export operations across air, sea, road, and courier shipments. The position manages customs compliance, freight providers, documentation, trade controls, and logistics improvements. It also supports customer orders, international projects, audits, and delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop import and export logistics strategy
- Manage global transportation activities and freight providers
- Oversee tariff classification, licensing, and customs valuation
- Lead compliance audits and corrective actions
- Resolve shipment delays and delivery escalations
- Extensive logistics or freight forwarding experience
- Experience coordinating global air, sea, and road shipments
- Demonstrable customs administration and duty management experience
- Deep knowledge of import and export regulations
- Strong organization, judgment, and communication skills
