The Field Maintenance Employee role is a part-time, non-supervisory position responsible for the upkeep of soccer fields in the City of Barrie. Key tasks include lining fields, mowing, and ensuring that goal netting is functional. This role supports the community by ensuring the facilities are ready for weekly games and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain soccer fields through mowing and chalk lining

• Install and repair goal netting at various locations

• Operate mowing and maintenance equipment safely

• Participate in equipment maintenance and repairs

• Ensure safety protocols are followed during work

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in field maintenance is desirable

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting

• Good communication skills with public and staff
