Building Operator

Position: 24/7 Building Operator at CBRE

Your role will focus on hands-on repairs and system management.

In this Engineering and Technical Services position, you'll be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of building systems and equipment around the clock. This includes performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Collaborating with contractors and responding to tenant needs are vital functions of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily rounds and maintain logs of system readings

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities

• Start-up and shut down building mechanical systems

• Inspect and maintain energy-efficient systems

• Address tenant emergencies and service requests

Requirements:

• OSSGD or equivalent certification needed

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ maintenance experience required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems

• Willingness to work shifts including weekends

• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
