Custodian Project Team Member Innisdale

Become a key team player in the Custodian Project Team at Simcoe County District School Board in Innisdale. This temporary role focuses on innovative cleaning methods, team training, and project tasks.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Supervisor, this position requires teamwork in cleaning and equipment maintenance. With a primary focus on best practices and proactive training for custodial staff, you'll travel between various locations as needed. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, alongside physical stamina for detailed cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement best cleaning practices

• Train custodians on equipment maintenance and procedures

• Complete assigned project tasks from the supervisor

• Maintain and operate custodial equipment

• Travel between assigned locations as required

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of custodian experience with SCDSB

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment

• Valid Ontario Drivers Licence required

• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks
