* What you’ll do
* * Operate and maintain the steam plant in a marine environment with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism.

* Monitor and maintain key ship systems (including mechanical, electrical, fire, and plumbing).

* Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance, keeping heritage equipment running smoothly and safely.

* Support general maintenance tasks as needed and work closely with the onboard team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

* Contribute to a culture of safe operations, tidy machinery spaces, and “do it right” workmanship.

* What we’re looking for
* * Marine Steam Engineer certification (3rd or 4th class preferred).

* We will also consider candidates with extensive steam knowledge, strong mechanical ability, or relevant marine/industrial experience.

* Calm, practical troubleshooting skills and confidence working with complex systems.

* Team-first attitude, strong communication, and pride in maintaining high standards.
