The Town of Innisfil is hiring for winter maintenance positions on casual contracts. You will engage in snow-clearing, operate specialized equipment, and perform general maintenance duties. The position demands availability for flexible shifts, where you will ensure the safe operation of public spaces during winter weather.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute snow-clearing and ice-control activities effectively
• Safely operate a variety of winter maintenance equipment
• Apply approved de-icing materials as per guidelines
• Maintain accurate activity logs and documentation
• Support maintenance of outdoor recreational facilities
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid G license; DZ license preferred
• Background in operating heavy equipment
• Flexibility for varied shift work, including nights
• Comfort working outdoors in changing weather conditions
