Support clean, safe Walmart shopping and work areas through Fresh Department cleaning, equipment inspection, and floor care in Huntsville, Ontario.
As a Maintenance Team Associate, you will participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program while controlling expenses. The work includes cleaning coolers, freezers, display fixtures, floors, carpets, and non-sales areas. You will also follow Food Safety standards, cold chain guidelines, Company policies, and required certification programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperating associates
- Clean Fresh Department coolers, freezers, and display fixtures promptly
- Inspect maintenance and cleaning equipment for proper working condition
- Maintain sufficient cleaning supplies for assigned duties
- Mop, sweep, vacuum floors, and maintain carpets when required
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Follow Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines
- Complete required in-store certification programs
- Work according to Company policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment
