St Andrew’s Healthcare Essex seeks reliable and compassionate Housekeeping Assistants for wards, offices, communal areas, and clinical spaces. The work supports patients, staff, and visitors through high cleaning standards, infection control, and appropriate waste disposal. Full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean wards, offices, communal areas, and clinical spaces
- Meet infection control and cleanliness standards consistently
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely as instructed
- Dispose of general and required clinical waste appropriately
- Replenish soap, paper towels, and sanitiser supplies
- Previous cleaning experience; healthcare experience is desirable
- Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexibility, initiative, and excellent communication skills
