Lead cleaning operations in Thunder Bay with BEST as an Assistant Manager, using supervision, coaching, and strong communication skills. Monday-Friday shifts include nights, days, and weekends as required.
The Assistant Manager supports the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations and a safe, professional work environment. This role suits candidates with leadership experience, MS Office knowledge, business accounting understanding, and employment and occupational safety legislation knowledge. You will help uphold BEST culture, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee site operations and review progress against client requirements
- Train frontline cleaning staff, supervisors, and administration
- Coach and mentor up to 40 team members
- Manage inventory and changing business priorities
- Respond to inquiries outside business hours when required
- Business-related post-secondary diploma or degree
- Minimum one year of related work experience
- Valid driver's license and successful background check
- Intermediate MS Office and business accounting knowledge
- Strong leadership and communication skills
