-5pm Monday – Friday Full time permanent5 days on site Our client is a well-established manufacturer of building materials and has a job open for Outdoor Yard Supervisor to manage Shipping Receiving Inventory and Warehouse (indoors and outdoors). This existing role is responsible for loading and unloading of inbound and outbound raw materials, customer orders, storage, put-aways, physical counts and inventory reconciliation of all raw materials and finished goods inventory.

The job is based in Barrie – New market – Toronto, North, ON and will require 5 days on site, Monday – Friday. This is a day shift operation. This job will require standing and working outdoors for long periods of time due to the nature of business. This is a dusty work environment. All applicants must be able to work outdoors.

Protective gear / masks etc are provided. This is an existing job.

The Outdoor Yard Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of packers, forklift operators, inbound and outbound loaders to oversee loading, unloading, shipping receiving, inbound outbound, raw material inventory and finished goods inventory. You will work with the dispatch team to ensure all trucks are loaded timely, ensure inventory, assist in reconciliation and assist production to make raw materials available on all production lines.

You will coach, mentor and manage performance at two sites within 10 minutes of each other. The Outdoor Yard Supervisor will have a minimum of 5–6 years’ experience (MUST have) in outdoor yard / inventory management for construction building materials, ceramic tiles, lumber, cement and similar industry. There may be some heavy lifting involved. Forklift license preferred. Ability to stand and work for long hours may be required.

This job will require you to work outdoors in wet / cold conditions due to the nature of the business.
