Junior Manufacturing Manager - Food Production Plant

A global food manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Manager to support our noodle manufacturing operations in Canada. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a management position while gaining hands‑on experience in production operations, food safety, and team leadership within a supportive environment.

Our current facility is currently under development, and onboarding is expected to begin in late July 2026.

• Support day‑to‑day production operations at a noodle manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth workflow, product quality, and food safety standards.
• Assist in supervising and coordinating a small production team of approximately 20–30 employees, with guidance and training provided.
• Help monitor production output and address basic operational issues on the production floor.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and learn production planning and team management practices.
• Work closely with senior staff and other departments to support inventory management, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in food manufacturing or food production, or a related field.
• Experience in a supervisor or shift lead role is an asset, with the ability to step into a leadership position.
• Ability to supervise and communicate effectively with a small team in a production environment.
• Forklift experience and/or valid forklift certification is considered an asset.
• Available to attend training at Vancouver plant for up to a maximum of 3 months.
• Flexibility to work changing shifts in the future, including early morning (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) or afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) shifts as operations evolve.
