What You Will Do
- Drive the deployment and integration of LEAN Manufacturing methodologies across the facility to enhance operational excellence and meet business goals.
- Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data‑driven solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions to foster a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (CORE) tools and techniques (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Continuous Improvement (CORE) tools and techniques, providing training and support to cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of LEAN Manufacturing initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Support the development and execution of site‑level Continuous Improvement (CORE) roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader RTX objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
- Drive a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the facility including maturation of Continuous Improvement (CORE) Framework requirements.
The selected candidate will achieve the following milestones: RTX‑CORE Champion certification within 1st year of employment, RTX‑CORE Professional certification within two years, and RTX‑CORE Expert certification within five years.
Qualifications- Minimum of a degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Operations or Business Management (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement roles.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with quantifiable results.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Engineering, or equivalent).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience working in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Familiarity with RTX CORE Operating System or Toyota Production System principles and tools.
Salary range: 65,000
CAD – 107,800
CAD (a good faith estimate).
