Production Operator at IKO Industries

Become a vital part of IKO Industries as a Production Operator, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing roofing materials. This role involves operating machinery, managing production lines, and quality assessments.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator will handle the operation of production lines while ensuring proper raw material flow and product quality compliance. Candidates should be comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in a dynamic, heavy-industrial environment. This position requires a proactive approach to resolving operational issues and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery following established procedures

• Conduct regular quality checks on materials and products

• Document production data and resolve any line stoppages

• Perform health and safety pre-start checklists

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace

Requirements:

• High School diploma required

• Minimum 2 years of heavy-industrial manufacturing experience

• Proven experience operating a forklift preferred

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
