Experienced Production Planner

Position: Experienced Production Planner Opportunity
Join Mac Lean Engineering in Barrie, ON as an Experienced Production Planner. This role involves optimizing production through efficient scheduling and work order management.

In this production-focused position, you will be responsible for planning and releasing work orders based on market production schedules (MPS). Your expertise in the ECN process and production planning sessions will drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years in production planning, ideally in heavy equipment manufacturing, and have a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and manage work orders according to production needs

• Analyze reports to resolve production and scheduling issues

• Collaborate in planning sessions to achieve delivery deadlines

• Conduct year-end inventory analysis and reconciliation

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout processes

Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma needed

• Preferred qualification in Business or Materials Management

• Three or more years in manufacturing planning

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, particularly Dynamic AX

• Strong attention to detail and initiative
