Welder​/Fabricator

Currently seeking energetic, hardworking individual to join our team. Applicant looking for a full time position as welder/fabricator working Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12pm (42.5 hour work week), with overtime available when permitted.

• Pay: $26.00–$30.00 per hour

  In person, Barrie, ON (preferred)

• Set up welding unit (MIG, TIG) to desired amperage
• Read and understand blueprints, diagrams and sketches
• Fabricate new metal components in accordance with the product data sheets and in compliance with applicable standards of safety and performance
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
• Maintain tools and equipment to a skilled standard; keep workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment
• Work safely with a wide variety of shop tools
• Act as an independent worker, manage workflow and meet deadlines
• Apply physical strength and endurance to complete all welding tasks

• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to interpret engineering drawings
• High energy, motivated individual with interpersonal skills
• Minimum 5 years welding experience (required)
• Secondary School (preferred) as education
