Take your manual machining skills to the next level as a Manual Lathe Specialist. Craft custom parts from various metals to precise specifications.
We are looking for a dedicated Manual Lathe Machinist who has at least two years of experience with manual machines. Your expertise will involve interpreting mechanical drawings, selecting tools, and conducting thorough inspections of the finished products. Maintaining safety and quality will be critical components of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate manual lathes to manufacture precision components
• Measure parts using calipers and inspect for quality
• Maintain safe and organized work spaces throughout operations
• Read work orders and adjust settings for optimal accuracy
• Finish and deburr parts to meet specifications
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience on manual lathes required
• Knowledgeable in blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Experience with precision measurement instruments
• Strong attention to detail for quality control
• High school diploma or equivalent needed
