Position: Day Shift Welder at MacLean Engineering

As a Welder/Fitter, you'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality components. We seek candidates with over 5 years of experience in a production environment, proficient in interpreting detailed engineering drawings. The ideal applicant will be organized, detail-oriented, and ready to implement best practices in safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret 3rd angle projection drawings accurately

• Fit and weld components as per specifications

• Operate Miller GMAW welding machines effectively

• Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment

• Identify improvement opportunities based on established processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years GMAW welding experience in flat position

• Proven skills in working with engineering drawings

• CWB Certification under CSA 47.1 is an asset

• Crane operator certification preferred

• Completion of welding theory and blueprint reading is beneficial
