Plastics Operator - Weekend Night

Your Role at Baxter

As a Plastics Operator, you will work permanent part‑time on the weekend night shift (Friday to Saturday 23:00‑11:00 EST, Saturday to Sunday 23:00‑11:00 EST). You will run the Kiefel machines, ensure proper materials are used, make minor adjustments, operate PVC grinders and blenders, perform QA inspections, document work according to Good Documentation Practices, troubleshoot equipment, enter shop floor data, maintain production paperwork, and transport raw materials and finished products.

• Operate the Kiefel, SAPA, Grinder, and Blender safely.
• Perform QA inspections and complete documentation following GDP.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain quality.
• Enter shop floor data and order raw materials.
• Maintain production paperwork ensuring materials match the BOM.
• Transport raw materials and finished products safely.

• Apply quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP.
• Report safety, quality or mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace using 6S principles.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, self‑motivated work ethic.
• Ability to comprehend SOPs and take corrective actions.

• Dress and gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask, boots.
• Additional PPE required when cleaning.

Base pay $30.30 per hour with possible shift premium for eligible hours. Compensation is subject to change at the discretion of the company.
