Position: Welder/Fitter Job Ontario
Join Mac Lean Engineering’s dedicated team as a Welder/Fitter on the Day Shift in Barrie, Ontario. Leverage your GMAW skills and experience to contribute to a Canada-based leader in mining equipment.

In this role, you will work with various weldments while adhering to engineering specifications. Candidates should have more than 5 years in a production setting and the ability to interpret complex drawings accurately. We value open-mindedness, flexibility, and a determined approach to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit components to specified dimensions and tolerances

• Operate grinding equipment for surface preparation

• Rig and operate 5-ton overhead crane safely

• Implement 5S principles for workplace organization

• Cross-train in other departments when available

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with GMAW in flat position

• Familiarity with engineering drawings is essential

• Completion of welding theory is a plus

• Crane operator training preferred

• CWB Certification is advantageous
