Experienced CNC Heavy Machinist

This position calls for a skilled machinist with extensive experience using large vertical boring mills and live tooling. You will read technical drawings, set up work pieces, and carry out precise CNC programming. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret job instructions and schematics for machining

• Set up work pieces and select tooling for operations

• Perform CNC programming for standard part geometries

• Rig and hoist heavy loads safely

• Conduct quality control checks on machined components

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years experience with large machining

• Certified machinist or equivalent qualifications

• Knowledge of Fagor or Heidenhain controllers preferred

• Strong communication skills in English
