Manufacturing Associate
We’re currently seeking 50 motivated Manufacturing Associates to join our Assembly and Production Departments. In this hands‑on role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Operations team.
What You Will Do- Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment.
- Assemble products according to provided specifications.
- Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process.
- Follow workflow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads.
- Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform basic data entry and computer work.
- Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture.
- Hands‑on experience with optical assembly and precision manufacturing processes.
- Practical application of blueprints and technical documentation.
- Effective use of calibrated tools and measuring equipment.
- Strategies for problem‑solving in a manufacturing environment.
- Best practices for maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive workplace.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology.
- Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable working with the metric system.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Self‑motivated with a consistently positive attitude.
- Capable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

The starting rate for this position is $20.00/hour.
