Position: Barrie Mould Supervisor Role
Join Canplas as a Mould Supervisor in Barrie, ON, and support high-quality operations in our mould shop. Take charge of tooling performance while leading a dedicated technical team.

This full-time position invites you to leverage your leadership skills and technical knowledge. You’ll mentor a team of 16, oversee commissioning of moulds, and ensure operational excellence through effective resource planning and staff development. Your contributions will directly impact productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse team of 16 trades professionals

• Manage all mould shop operations and maintenance

• Ensure efficient workload distribution across moulds

• Offer hands-on technical and problem-solving support

• Promote safety and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Licensed Mould Maker (431A) or Tool & Die Maker (430A)

• 5+ years in mould shop or manufacturing environment

• 2+ years leading technical teams

• Expertise in tooling and machining

• Strong commitment to safety and quality
