Powder Operator - Day shift

This role focuses on powder production, ensuring precision, quality, and safety in life-saving products.

• Verify that the accurate chemicals are used in the production process.
• Weigh chemicals into containers ranging from 4 g to 10 kg as directed by the router.
• Label products accurately and maintain detailed process documentation.
• Perform quality assurance checks per SOPs to achieve product quality using Electronic Batch Records (E ).
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain department records (absenteeism, hours, vacation) in Kronos/JD Edwards.
• Empty bags of chemicals into the overhead dispensing hopper.
• Adjust equipment as needed to dispense the required amounts of chemicals.
• Perform tests to verify product acceptability and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Clean and set up dispensing and sealing equipment and perform startup cleaning and checks.

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Ontario Grade 12 Equivalency, or a combination of job-specific knowledge, training, and experience.
• English and Math proficiency.
• Experience performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate autonomously and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Proven consistent attendance and strong performance in the current or past roles.
• Ability to perform some overhead heavy lifting.
• Capability to spend approximately half the time in temperature-regulated environments.

• Pay rate of $28.45 per hour.
• Shift premium for eligible hours; premium details are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
